SUMMARY:
The Associate Relations Leader – Upstate South Carolina role is to cross train with each Mfg. Services Site Manager and direct the activities of MAU personnel assigned to the customer site location and ensure that customer key performance indicators are achieved. Further, to supervise all contingent MAU associate HR functions with a focus on facility on-boarding, payroll, performance counseling, and attendance tracking to achieve a positive associate experience and meet customer expectations for contingent staffing. Further, this position will provide support and oversight to all Michelin Outsourced accounts with Kronos time collection, Avionte assignments and invoice auditing.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in Human Resources or in a manufacturing environment
- HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) (preferred)
- 2+ years payroll and Avionte assignment experience
- Lean Greenbelt (preferred)
- Root cause analysis training (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate on-boarding and training of all personnel reporting to the facility
- Actively mentor/coach a safe work culture through employee engagement, BBS observations, and participation in site safety events. Hold personnel accountable for work behavior
- Lead incident investigations and ensure that required information is distributed properly, employee case management techniques are followed, and corrective actions are communicated
- Serve as the site primary point of contact for communications and policy changes
- Sustain and support Leader Standard work for Site Manager Position and all positions reporting to Site Manager
- Check Associate Relations Leaders Standard Work for completion and quality
- Support the MAU Touch Program drive action on survey results
- Serve as a mentor for problem solving and drive a culture of root cause analysis and corrective action accountability
- Perform safety audits via ICI, BBS, and PIT Observations
- Implement and manage an associate’s engagement program
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are being followed
- Complete attendance reports
- Conduct quality review of employees
- Complete accident reports and on-site investigations within 24 hours of accident and counsel employees verbally and in writing for safety violations
- Coordinate and report with client’s supervisors on workforce issues or possible new requirements
- Ensure weekly payroll is submitted by client and checked for accuracy
- Receive summary allocation reports from the client and make Avionte assignments in a manner that achieves correct billing
- Submit payroll report to MAU Finance for processing
- Audit weekly invoices for accuracy and determine errors and develop containment measures to prevent re-occurrence
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
