Material Handler
Start your new career as a Material Handler with MAU at Robert Bosch, LLC. in North Charleston, SC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible to operate equipment, inspect and/or audit components, receive and issue material, use systems to prepare and send final products to customers, and actively participate in the continuous improvement process.
What We Are Looking For:
-
Ability to work 1st = 6am-2:10pm, M-F 2nd = 2:00pm-10:10pm M-F, 3rd = 10pm-6:10am Sun-Thurs, 4th (weekend) = Fri and Sat from 10pm-10:10am (21.53/hr) and one eight-hour shift every other week

Demonstrated computer skills to include proficiency working in SAP, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems and software as necessary

Ability to operate material handling equipment such as tugger, pallet jack, forklift, conveyor, shrink wrap machine, man lift, electric pallet jack, scanner, and banding equipment and obtain proper licensing as required

Able to frequently lift at least 30 lbs.

Able to work outdoors for short amounts of time and operate in a mildly dusty environment
What We Offer:

Starting pay of $14.00/hour for 1st shift

$14.35/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts,

$21.53/hour for weekend shift with training on 1st at $14.00/hour

What You’ll Do As A Material Handler:
-
Perform all duties according to job description, operator instruction sheets, and/or communicated instructions for all shipping, receiving, material delivery

Pull parts per sample plan and transport to inspection area
-
Maintain Visual Management Boards, charts, logbooks, databases and other miscellaneous records as required
-
Inform and work with appropriate associates to resolve any issue with equipment, components or systems
-
Identify, count, transfer, store components, and finished goods using current inventory and lot control systems

Deliver all material to production points of use

Identify, analyze, and resolve BPS system issues
-
Interface with various carriers, suppliers, and customers as well as planning, quality, purchasing, and production associates

Develop and feedback ideas for improvements and assist with implementation
-
Maintain 5S system in work area
-
Manage all product flow using SAP and other documentation as necessary
-
Miscellaneous duties as required.
