SUMMARY:
The Director of IT will provide vision and leadership for designing, developing, and implementing IT initiatives that make it as easy as possible for our internal customers to do their jobs while ensuring scalability, e?ciency, integration and security. This position is responsible for the strategy, management, execution, and budgeting of IT within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS required
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science preferred
- 10+ years of relevant industry and development management experience, including hands-on development and coding
- Experience and understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
- Experience with a Windows environment, Active Directory, SQL
- Expertise in communications and relationship management
- Experience collaborating with Senior Level (VP +) stakeholders
- Knowledge of software development/Product lifecycle (design, development and deployment of Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
- Enterprise supporting systems), methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and IT roles
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or Experience in managing IT in manufacturing or sta?ng environment (preferred)
- Potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies
- Ability to understand ‘Big Picture’ as well as to dive into project-level details
- Experience supporting or executing programs related to modernization, re-platforming of large-scale solutions (preferred)
- Experience delivering data-intense solutions, integration architecture knowledge (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement a 2-3-year technology strategy aligned to company’s Core Strategies and Core Values. Create Inventories and Roadmaps for future state of customer facing and internal technologies (CRM, ATS, etc.)
- Develop and maintain high standards in legal compliance, security, and IT governance in a global (GDPR) setting
- Measure, then increase, the business value of IT investments, measurable to MAU’s bottom line
- Work directly with senior management to identify, prioritize, and execute key IT projects aligned to business strategies
- Utilize communication as the vehicle to convey stories of IT value and gain alignment on strategic vision
- Foster technology capabilities, lead and coordinate decision-making process for key technology decisions
- Oversee IT operations and manage IT team
- Identify and eliminate security risks
- Assesses need for new equipment and software
- Direct and support the implementation of new software and hardware
- Manage key IT Vendors and the deliverables they provide MAU
- Implement cloud-based solutions
- Ensure the smooth delivery and operations of IT services by monitoring system performance
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Grow the IT team, taking a proactive position in improving teams’ skills and capabilities
- Develop, manage, & track the IT department’s annual budget
- Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
