Inland Port Greer opened in October 2013, extending the Port of Charleston’s reach 212 miles inland to Greer, S.C., and providing shippers with access to more than 95 million consumers within a one-day drive. Inland Port Greer boosts efficiency for international freight movements between the Port of Charleston and companies located across the Southeast, and the project is expected to create additional economic investment in the South Carolina Upstate, where, Michelin and other international manufacturers already operate. This position works rotating shifts please see details below.
What We Are Looking For:
- Flexibility for a rotating schedule
- (8:00AM to 5:00PM, 5:00PM to 1:00AM, 6:00PM to 6:00AM, and 6:00AM to 6:00PM)
- Train for two months on first shift of 8:00AM to 5:00PM
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience
- Positive, can do attitude
- High attention to detail
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Computer savvy
- Ability to work every other weekend and overtime as required

What You’ll Do as an Administrative Coordinator:
- Inspect shipping containers for damage as they arrive via computer images
Route containers to correct location based on whether there is damage or not
Communicate and troubleshoot issues with drivers
Use multiple software systems throughout day
Other tasks as assigned
