SUMMARY:
The Associate Employment Specialist will interface with MAU branch personnel, corporate support, and customer leadership, including Human Resources, Management, Supervision, and Purchasing departments.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Assertive with an outgoing personality
- Focused, thorough, and driven with a strong desire to succeed
- Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to lift 20 pounds, walk for 4 hours, and sit for 4 hours per shift
- Capacity and willingness to travel for less than 15% of assigned tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage hourly recruiting activities
- Coordinate hiring and marketing activities for hourly opportunities
- Schedule onsite interviews for applicants
- Distribute resumes and interview packets for applicants
- Schedule onsite facility tours for interviewers
- Send offer packets for approved applicants
- Manage and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) for hourly positions
- Coordinate all new hire paperwork, drug screenings, and onboarding for associates
- Support virtual and in-person job fairs
- Communicate weekly with hiring managers regarding the status of openings
- Work closely with the onsite Temp Team regarding hourly associate conversions
- Manage apprenticeship program
- Post Apprenticeship positions on external job boards and the MAU job website
- Contact applicants with instructions and paperwork needed to complete placement testing
- Create a tracking matrix for all candidates who complete placement testing to track test results
- Send rejection notifications to candidates who do not pass placement testing
- Invite approved candidates to participate in onsite Mechanical Aptitude testing
- Coordinate multiple interview sessions for all eligible candidates
- Facilitate meetings with onsite training and Human Resources for applicant selections and Apprenticeship offers
- Distribute offer letters for approved applicants and rejection letters for non-approved candidates
- Coordinate new hire paperwork and other onboarding activities for all apprentice candidates who have accepted offers, including drug testing, functional medical testing, background checks, Equifax paperwork, and other additional needed documentation
- Participate in weekly client and monthly MAU staff meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
