You will perform purchasing, receiving, and cycle counting, respond to production and material needs, and manage vendors. This is a direct hire opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field of study OR a combination of experience and education
- 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
- Prior experience with inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with JDE, Oracle, or other ERP
- Experience with inventory control programs
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems
- Strong practical skills in a Lean Manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and as an integral part of a team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus on implementing a PFEP around material management
- Serve as the facility subject matter expert on raw materials and finished goods
- Strategically approach the implementation of sustainable processes to drive the business forward
- Develop, implement, and strategize long-term process improvements
- Maintain responsibility for the manufacturing raw material inventory needs
- Plan finished goods inventory levels
- Determine stocking levels and locations through part classification
- Develop processes and implement inventory-related functions
- Perform MRP tool development and maintenance
- Develop and drive inventory objectives, including Days on Hand, Cycle Count programs, and Inventory Turns
- Develop vendor scorecards
- Drive the Excess and Obsolescence inventory plans
- Perform root cause analyses and implement countermeasures to resolve issues
- Own and actively maintain proper order processing, including DoA, GL accuracy, and data entry
- Drive inventory-related needs and improvements required for ERP upgrades
- Drive productivity improvements and increase customer satisfaction through the development and execution of Inventory Management Strategies
- Maintain full accountability and management of inventory
- Perform other tasks as assigned
