You will perform purchasing, receiving, and cycle counting, respond to production and material needs, and manage vendors. This is a direct hire opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field of study OR a combination of experience and education
• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
• Prior experience with inventory management in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with JDE, Oracle, or other ERP
• Experience with inventory control programs
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems
• Strong practical skills in a Lean Manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and as an integral part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Focus on implementing a PFEP around material management
• Serve as the facility subject matter expert on raw materials and finished goods
• Strategically approach the implementation of sustainable processes to drive the business forward
• Develop, implement, and strategize long-term process improvements
• Maintain responsibility for the manufacturing raw material inventory needs
• Plan finished goods inventory levels
• Determine stocking levels and locations through part classification
• Develop processes and implement inventory-related functions
• Perform MRP tool development and maintenance
• Develop and drive inventory objectives, including Days on Hand, Cycle Count programs, and Inventory Turns
• Develop vendor scorecards
• Drive the Excess and Obsolescence inventory plans
• Perform root cause analyses and implement countermeasures to resolve issues
• Own and actively maintain proper order processing, including DoA, GL accuracy, and data entry
• Drive inventory-related needs and improvements required for ERP upgrades
• Drive productivity improvements and increase customer satisfaction through the development and execution of Inventory Management Strategies
• Maintain full accountability and management of inventory
• Perform other tasks as assigned
