Manufacturing Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, or Industrial Engineering or other related fields of study
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience in CAD, CNC, GD&T, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, TPM/WCM/WCE, and VSM (preferred)
- Process improvement and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and analytical skills
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or business system-based company (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and enhance systems and equipment in the industrial production process
- Implement improvements to product availability and cost reduction
- Collaborate with shop floor teams to identify areas of waste and opportunities for flow and equipment improvement
- Provide technical mechanical input and understanding to maintenance, operations, and toolmaking departments, enhancing total preventative maintenance programs on existing machinery
- Document concepts, designs, and processes, and generate written protocols and reports
- Determine product specifications, evaluating products according to specifications and quality standards to improve or implement manufacturing processes
- Conduct time and movement studies
- Review and analyze processes and methods
- Perform various other work measurements activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
