Product Data Management Specialist
Expand your professional portfolio as a Product Data Management Specialist at Robert Bosch, LLC in Charleston, SC. As a Product Data Management Specialist, you will ensure the implementation of engineering changes per Bosch Business Mobility (BBM) product release procedures. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Self-driven, high energy, and proactive with strong motivational skills and the ability to lead teams toward a common goal
- Comfort in making complex independent decisions
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage varying topics with a process-driven mindset
- Previous experience leading cross-functional teams with the ability to quickly build internal networks
- Strong product and product release process knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, or similar change management software
- Professional work experience in automotive or manufacturing (engineering, project management, or similar) (preferred)
- Product life cycle experience (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, manage, and track project-specific Change Requests (internal and external) from creation through implementation and close
- Ensure the maintenance of product master data throughout the product lifecycle
- Coordinate Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes throughout the Charleston Value Streams
- Serve as a vital member of the Engineering Change Management Review Team (RT), steering and consulting with Engineering and Quality Leads
- Act as plant representative to approve Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Planning and Final Review
- Support Value Stream Teams with internal ECR Kick-Off meetings while ensuring adherence to ECM guidelines
- Increase transparency of ECM by maintaining a comprehensive change overview and reporting across various levels of the organization
- Define, support, and deploy ECM training across the teams
- Share best practices across products and regions with a critical eye to ensure lean and effective ECM
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports
- Ensure all material masters, bills of materials, and other product data are maintained and updated
- Perform other duties as assigned
