SUMMARY:
Expand your professional portfolio as a Maintenance Manager with our client in Plattsburgh, NY. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be directly responsible for managing a technical support and methods team to contribute to site or activity performance improvement. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles
- Excellent research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient in hardware and software development and troubleshooting
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Training with AutoCAD or other layout and design software
- Experience in process control, mechatronics, digital control systems, control electronics, electromechanics, robotics, fluid dynamics, statistics is an advantage
- 2+ years of experience with Fanuc or Allen Bradley PLC's HMI's and Servo
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exposure to and knowledge of APQP and PFMEA (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive maintenance plans process (Creation, enhancement, efficiency impact, etc.)
- Manage process compliance (EP domain, Quality, Sustainability)
- Support / Assist reliability and maintenance initiatives
- Apply best practices / methods for problem solving and continuous improvements
- Develop/improve PM program by use of Criticality, FMEA, RCM tools to identify failure modes and the mitigations to insure minimal impact on facilities operation
- Responsible for continuous process optimization based on Reliability requirements of facilities equipment
- Define and manage metrics that track field reliability performance
- You are the subject matter expert to drive equipment-related process improvement including detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Build training material, maintenance routines, service-bulletins, one-point lessons and related documentation related to cradle to grave equipment life cycle management
- Identify equipment critical spare parts and ensure sufficient coverage to prevent extended downtime situations
- Provides hands-on support to maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime solutions
- Develop and maintain replacement plan for obsolete components and systems (Coordinates this plan with sectors and RTA)
