Maintenance Technician

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in an electrical/mechanical maintenance position in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience with the installation and disassembly of machinery and equipment
- Adaptable to changes in the work environment and comfortable with multiple competing demands and frequent changes
- Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles (preferred)
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot malfunctions utilizing diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
- Utilize machine shop tools and equipment to fabricate repair parts
- Test, locate, and repair trouble in electrical circuits and equipment
- Perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Repair and replace broken or defective parts
- Repair electrical motors, components, wiring, and other electrical devices
- Utilize one's knowledge of principles, methods, and equipment in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and electronic equipment
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance requirements
- Work within the team environment with minimum supervision
- Exercise judgment and initiative within established guidelines
- Perform required, regulated inspections of building and equipment
- Assist management in the development of new policies and procedures for employee safety
- Perform other related duties as assigned
