Operations Supervisor
SUMMARY:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing team leadership and management to attain safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent building objectives for the MAU team.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of applicable supervisory experience
- Lean Greenbelt (preferred)
- Root cause analysis training (preferred)
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills with a customer/client focus
- Ability to walk up to 6 miles per day, and lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to travel to occasional off-site training or team building (less than 25 miles per month)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise MAU staff across multiple shifts throughout the site
- Serve as the expert for material flow processes and continuous improvement
- Ensure that all material flow processes are completed to SQDC standards, with adherence to federal, state, and local laws
- Oversee the management of controlled critical process variables materials
- Sustain and support Leader Standard Work
- Assist with conflict resolutions for employees and customers
- Facilitate coaching, training, and mentoring to all MAU employees and leaders
- Manage on-shift safety issues, injuries, property and material damages, material shortages, and personnel incident reporting
- Maintain security compliance
- Issue post-accident reports and drug screenings
- Supervise the Ogden warehouse with safety as the priority
- Ensure profitability by controlling costs and managing the workforce to best meet the needs of the customers, and participating in continuous improvement projects that help achieve operational excellence
- Update communications boards and address crucial issues as they arise
- Perform employee attendance counseling
- Maintain payroll/KRONOS
- Facilitate daily meetings
- Address any special customer requests
