SUMMARY:

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3+ years’ in Product and/or Applications Engineering
- Ability to travel, when needed
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Strong problem solving/analysis skills
- Excellent training and communication skills, oral and written
- Proficient leadership skill
- Must be results oriented and metrics driven
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Hubbell Pricing team to set Market prices, approve prices issued & personally set the prices associated with major projects (significant one time sales opportunities)
- Define product needs to expand the Hubbell product line offering to satisfy industry needs
- Design transmission assemblies using Hubbell product that is compliant to the customer provided specifications along with industry standards applicable to the project country location
- Read customer specification documents to define the bid needs
- Collaborate with:
- Product Engineers to assist with developing drawings, specifications & exceptions associated with bid packages for quoted transmission projects
- Hubbell Sales Team & Customers for day to day business (Problem solving, applications, training, bid-packages & pricing)
- Customer Service and resolve questions concerning customer transactions, product needs, application requests, product cross-references and similar
- Customers on major projects, promoting new products, training and various other business activities
- Run the Electrical & Mechanical testing requirements associated with performance testing of customer projects. This to include handling test needs and customers that may be present to witness testing
- Handle development, maintenance & all aspects of the product catalog for this product line
- Provide the Hubbell Branding team advertising ideas & proofing/approving all collateral generated
- Share/recommend decisions concerning pricing at significant dollar amounts, market and product needs
- Provide mentorship to supporting product engineering team members
