SUMMARY:
Expand your professional portfolio as a Retail Sales Representative with MAU ‘s client in McDonough, GA. As the Retail Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling the clients products in your assigned territory. This is a direct-hire position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience
- 3+ years selling experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Successful sales track record, solid negotiation skills
- Understanding of buyer/decision maker type
- Exhibit effective selling, listening and verbal presentation skills
- Ability to assess and respond to customer needs
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience with online sales tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve growth target Plan for territory on calendar year basis
- Work with your manager to establish territory goals, objectives and strategies that will produce expected sales and gross profit growth. Demonstrate a complete understanding of sales territory including all new and existing accounts, competition, and industry trends
- Present products and brands to customers and potential customers in the retail uniform marketplac
- Establish and cultivate a pipeline of new sales opportunities in the territory. Daily sales activities will include calls made to retail uniform stores and e*tailers. A minimum of twenty (20) sales calls per week should be achieved with the majority of those calls being to product procurement decision makers
- Maintain an overall positive attitude, be professional at all times, be respectful with your customers as well as your teammates and support the client’s strategies/mission
- Monitor & stay within your territory expense budget. Ensure that integrity is maintained
- Maintain a consistent membership with the Uniform Retailers Association and participate in annual URA trade show if requested
- Fill-out weekly call reports detailing all sales activitie
- Communicate all business changes to the Inventory/Planning Team to help insure high service levels
- Be accountable & responsible daily to yourself, your manager, and company
- Support the client’s "Lean Management" mission and participate in requested Lean activities
- Attend and participate in all Retail Channel Sales Meeting
