Expand your professional career as a Buyer with Atkore in De Pere, WI. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for investigating and imp[lamenting cost-saving proposals, including alternative sourcing, alternative materials, and optimized supply planning. This is a direct hire opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in a Business-related field of study
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Lean manufacturing or business system-based company experience (preferred)
- SAP experience (desired)
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Experience with inventory control programs
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in time and project management
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, plan workloads, and establish priorities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase all needed MRO for the manufacturing plant, including purchase order creation
- Maintain inventory management and complete cycle counts
- Calculate the need for and execute purchase requisitions through conversion to and placement of purchase orders
- Perform cost analyses of various MRO needs
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes and solidify purchasing timelines and competitive pricing
- Perform other tasks as assigned
