SUMMARY:
The Safety Team Lead will provide safety, production, and PIV training and compliance for associates and Full-Time Regular Staff (100+). You will foster a positive safety culture within the team through training and enforcement of safety rules and work standards and serve as a proxy for the Safety Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree OR 3+ years of applicable experience
- Communication proficiency, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in written correspondence
- Customer/client focused
- Excellent time management and teamwork experience

- The ability to perform duties both safely and efficiently under the following working conditions:
- Working in an industrial environmen
- Bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouchin
- Lifting 75 pound
- Visual acuity to read instructions, manuals, specifications, etc
- Depth perception and a wide field of vision are needed when operating vehicle
- Continuously mounting and dismounting vehicles
- Ability to travel for training and development when needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide applicable Safety Data during Pre-Shift Meetings
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation training for associates
- Track and update Site KPIs
- Maintain PIV Impact Program
- Perform Safety Gemba walks throughout the Plant (Safety Compliance)
- Provide continuous training efforts to maintain OSHA Compliance and improve the safety culture
- Perform monthly, and safety training and OSHA Annual Required Safety Training
- Track and record Safety Performance for the Site Team
- Respond to and investigate incidents/accidents that occur in the facility
- Provide containment
- Administer recertification processes
- Facilitate 4SPS events
- Facilitate random drug testing
- Oversee Post-Accident reports and drug testing
- Maintain safety information on the Site Communication Board and ensure associate compliance with GMP, dress code, and MAU policies
- Provide assessments and documentation of associates' training progress
- Serve as a witness, when required for attendance, work performance, and conduct counseling sessions; assist with security compliance and suspension of employees
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
